Frequently asked
Do I keep ownership of my beats? +
Yes, 100%. You retain full ownership and publishing rights to your music. We only sell non-exclusive leases, meaning the same beat can be sold to multiple customers. You can also withdraw your beats from the platform at any time with 30 days notice.
What happens if my beat is rejected? +
We'll let you know via email within 48 hours with specific feedback. Common reasons for rejection include low audio quality, unclear samples, or a genre/style that doesn't fit our current catalog. You're welcome to re-submit an improved version.
When and how do I get paid? +
Payouts happen on the 1st of every month for the previous month's sales. We pay via Swish, bank transfer, or PayPal. You'll receive a full breakdown showing which beats sold, how many times, and at what license tier.
Can I sell the same beat elsewhere? +
Yes. Since we only sell non-exclusive leases, you're free to list your beats on other platforms like Beatstars or Airbit at the same time. The only exception is exclusive licenses — if a buyer purchases an exclusive through us, we'll notify you immediately and you must remove it from other platforms.
How many beats can I submit? +
There's no hard limit, but we review each beat individually and maintain quality standards. We recommend submitting your strongest 3–5 beats first. Once you're an established partner, the review process becomes faster.
What file format should I submit? +
Send a high-quality MP3 or WAV (minimum 320kbps / 44.1kHz 24-bit WAV) via a download link in the submission form. If approved, we'll ask for your full trackout stems as a ZIP for the Trackout license tier.
